Mistress of Ceremonies

Normally, I would officiate a ceremony, pack away my things, and mingle with the guests for a while before quietly slipping away for you to carry on with the celebrations. But...

Who runs the world? Girls! - Beyonce

The first known use of the phrase - Mistress of Ceremonies - dates back to 1845, and even though I'm not quite that old,  as a teacher for almost 20 years, I am used to bossing people around, telling them what to do and getting things done! :-)

That's why I would be your perfect Mistress of Ceremonies, ensuring your day runs as smoothly as possible.

A Mistress of Ceremonies... or MC.. .has 3 key responsibilities during the course of your day.

* Maintain Schedule

* Make Announcements

* Promote Enjoyment

If you request my services, I’ll help the photographer herd the cats (guests!) by rounding up the stragglers for the big group photo, I'll announce you in to your wedding breakfast, look for drunken Uncle Dave who's asleep under the table, introduce the speeches and orchestrate the big set pieces, including the cutting of the cake and the first dance.

I’ll stay and assist you up until your first dance, before I sashay away and let you party into the wee hours!

This service is an additional £250 on top of your ceremony fee.

Please note: A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable by BACS at time of booking to secure your date and for me to begin creating your ceremony.

The remaining balance is due by BACS one month before the ceremony date.
